      this is a space for art, creation, spiritualism, divinity, and all things metaphysical and surreal. i am an agent of raw femininity, much of which is cutthroat, and a conduit for all things so human they become otherworldly. welcome to the mecca of my mind. 

my namesake

    the name feralcove comes from a poem i wrote in two minutes in a bout of inspiration that struck me like lightning. it is here on this blog, and will forever be etched into my skin, much like the rest of my writings. it is a name i've been christened with for my identity is one that is known and yet still shrouded. it is as intricate and complex as the spaces between dew on a single blade of grass and as expansive and infinite as a mountain meadow. it takes a lifetime to know and an eternity to understand. i hope that my mind brings you some new revelations for i seek them out every day. i am devout in learning, and i have an inexplicable calling to vampires.

hard poetry

    this page will consist of my writings that speak to who i am and who i'm becoming, as identity is never something tangible and concrete. they are not works i am proud of, as that is not my purpose, but works i want to share. writing is a meditative process for me. 

    those in my life often joke that when i get struck with thought hard as lightning, i act as if possessed by an unnamed victorian poet, returning to continue the eternal lifecycle of thought and prose.

inspirations

    for someone who is devoted to learning as much as i, my companion since birth, education is crystallized in my soul. in this way, i find a lot of work flows through me. however, there are some immortalized figures who i have to thank for my poetry and its style, like sylvia plath and robert frost.

    books and music are also an integral part of my creation and who i am. if you would like playlists or book recommendations, reviews, or otherwise i will always have an infinite amount of them to share. i can write for hours on andrew hozier byrne's lyricism and kiki rockwell's depth.

    culture is also something important to me as i hail from the muscogee (creek) tribe of the five civilized nations. a lot of my personal lifestyle and spiritualism practices are rooted in my culture.

    this is not a space for hatred or discrimination of any kind and there will be consequences for any that collects in this space. respect and intersectionality are virtues of mine and will be upheld to the fullest extent. everyone has a story to share and a right to share it. learn.
